SiegeMemory.net is an interactive documentary currently in production to mark the centenary of this near mythical event in East End lore.

SiegeMemory is an online interactive documentary currently in production on a no budget basis.

SiegeMemory is an exploration of the Siege of Sidney Street of 1911 and will be completed in time for the events centenary in January 2011.

SiegeMemory weaves together interviews with working class east enders, historians, anarchists, academics, children and police officers to tell an exciting story in a interactive non linear manner.

SiegeMemory is being built in the Korsakow software and as such uses a database to generate the flow of the story to ensure the story is never told the same way twice, giving the viewer a heightened level of engagement with the story, using web technologies to their limit.

SiegeMemory pushes the limits of the documentation of reality & poses the possibility of open ended documentary making.

SiegeMemory questions the creation of history in the post digital era.
